Rose Poetique by the Greek niche perfume house Manos Gerakinis, is one of the best modern rose Perfumes you can find in the market, and it’s what I call the epitome of sophistication and femininity in a bottle. The nose behind this beauty is Manos Gerakinis, and it was launched in 2018.
This is one of the best rose fragrances you can find, in fact, the house won a prize for the previous version of this fragrance as one of the top five best rose fragrances in the world, and with that background it truly was a challenge to create this beauty which took over a year to develop into what it is today.
It has plant-based alcohol and you can smell the high quality ingredients in every drop. Rose Poetique is extremely similar to Cavort by Fragrance Du Bois, so if you like Cavort, highly likely you’ll like Rose Poetique. One of the things I like about this fragrance is that usually rose fragrances tend to lean a little bit on the vintage side which for many people is a turn off; Rose Poetique, conversely, it’s a modern rose perfume yet classy and sophisticated.
This is a very realistic rose with added femininity, it screams femininity right in the opening and being a linear fragrance you’ll get this vibe the entire time the fragrance lasts on your skin. It’s a tad bit fruity with a splash of tartness and because of that it makes me think of Delina by Parfums de Marly: if you like Delina, I’m pretty sure you’ll like this one. Now, the similarities here don’t lie in the scent as it the case with Cavort, however, this fragrance has rhubarb in the composition, and you’ll find in Rose Poetique perfectly balanced fruity tartness that will remind you of the beautiful Delina.
Despite it’s flirty, joyful, fizzy, bubbly, and sparkly nature, this modern rose perfume is perfect for all year round, day or night and it’ll sure turn heads and get you tons of compliments.
